MAGIC (Multipurpose Assisted Generational Innovative Cutlery) is right. This most excellent knife pops open with a thumb stud or with a spine button that functions almost as an automatic. Has a side safety switch. What a great knife. Also has glass breaker on end. Overall: 7″ Blade: 3″ Weight: 3.9oz
My Smith and Wesson spring-assist knife is certainly an incredible find for under $40. What really stands out to me in how much detail goes into one of these knives like the milling in the aluminum handle as well as in the G-10 inlay. I’ve also really like the spring assisted knives due to their ease of function and this one certainly does not disappoint. It’s just as fast as most autos on the market and it’s really convenient to have the spine-flipper function in addition to the thumb studs. A big win from Smith and Wesson on this knife we certainly be the combination of the wide-framed pocket clip and the textured G-10 inlay. I have lost my fair share of pocket knives and this one sits, not only very comfortably, but securely in my pocket and without causing fraying whether I’m wearing jeans or even dress slacks. If its quality you want at a reasonable price, this is certainly it.
